Professional Fees & Payment
Our fees are based on the effective man-hour and the calibre of staff required for the performance of the work, calculated at the rates recommended by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). We always prepare a time budget for every engagement and monitor our performance against this budget. Any variations are usually accounted for. The essence of this exercise is to eliminate idle time, to enable us focus attention on problem areas.
Separate fees are charged for any additional services rendered outside the original engagements. These charges would also be calculated on the same bases as stated above.
In addition to the fees, we charge for expenses incurred by us directly in connection with the execution of assignments. These expenses would include, but would not be restricted to, the travelling cost of staff to and from clients’ offices, cost of printing and stationary, and reimbursable expenses, where applicable.
Since time is a major factor in the determination of fees, we always ensure that the timetable for execution of any assignment is discussed and agreed with clients; the purpose of which is to ensure that all parties work within the time frame. The clients to ensure the provision of all records and other facilities on time, and our staff to ensure completion in accordance with our programme.
PAYMENT
Any agreed fees and charges are payable as follows: At least 50% on commencement, and balance on completion of assignment.
